Writing brings me peace and happiness. For 10 years, I was a columnist in The Valley Planet, Huntsville's arts paper.

I started in my 20s and bid the column, called "Party of One", farewell in my 30s.

I miss writing for fun, so this will be the place things are written.

Why do they keep wanting me to add descriptions?
